Cheesy Tomatoes

Phase: 1

1 large, ripe and firm tomato (I used Roma)
1T ricotta cheese
1T each of mozarella and cheddar cheeses shredded
Italian seasoning, to taste
Garlic salt, to taste


1. Cut the large tomato in half and scoop out the insides (Keep or toss, your choice.)

2. Mix together all of the cheeses and spices until well combined. You will have to experiment with the ratio of the cheeses and spices to see what you like best!

3. Spoon mixture into the tomato halves and put on a cookie sheet in the oven.

4. Watch to see when the insides melt. Mixture will start to liquefy.

5. When mixture is liquefied, turn the oven to Broil and broil until the tops are lightly browned.

6. Take out of the oven and enjoy with a fork, or with your hands!

Comments: I modified the recipe by slashing the amount of cheese, since cheese is easily a diet-breaker!
